Change Management Maturity Model Audit (CMMMA)

As organizations experience more and more change, the ability to effectively manage the people side of that change in order to deliver results and outcomes is growing. The Prosci Change Management Maturity Model describes the five levels of organizational maturity in managing the people side of change.

Organization/Group

To begin using the CMMMA, you will need to create a group you would like to audit. This can be a part of the organization (location, department, etc) or the organization as a whole.

  • To add a group, click on [+ Create New Group] and add a group name.
  • From here, you can create a new Audit by clicking on the [+ Add Audit].

Editing, Archiving and Deleting Groups

  • To edit, archive or delete a group, click on the 3-dot ellipse of the Group model and choose from the drop down.
    • Archiving a group will move the group, all maturity model audits and any associated data to the [Archived Groups] tab and can be unarchived at any time.
    • Deleting a group will permanently delete the group, all maturity model audits and any associated data. This action cannot be undone.

Audit Assessments

The Change Management Maturity Model Audit is comprised of five Capability Areas and 50 Factors:

  • Leadership (8 Factors)
  • Application (8 Factors)
  • Competencies (12 Factors)
  • Standardization (12 Factors)
  • Socialization (10 Factors)

Participants will assess each factor in the audit using a five-tiered scale, where Level 5 denotes the highest level of maturity and Level 1 signifies the lowest. The scoring rubric for each factor clearly outlines what defines Levels 1 through 5 in an organization. This comprehensive scoring framework allows for an in-depth evaluation of your organization’s maturity in change management.
