Duplicate Proxima Project

This new feature was released to all Proxima users on July 14th, 2025.

You can duplicate an existing project directly from the Projects landing page in Proxima.

How to Duplicate a Project

  1. Locate the project you want to duplicate.
  2. Click the three-dot ellipse (...) in the top-right corner of the project tile.
  3. Select Duplicate.
  4. A default name will appear as [Copy of (project name)]. You can edit the project name by clicking into the text box.

What Gets Duplicated

When duplicating a project, you can choose which parts of the project you'd like to copy over:

  • PCT Assessments: Copies over all PCT Assessments from the project, including dates and scores of completed assessments.
  • 4 Ps: Copies over full details from the 4 P's page.
  • Value of CM: Copies over all information from the Value of CM page.
  • Impacted Groups: Copies over over data from the Impacted Groups* page including:
    • Group Name, Number in Group, Definition of Adoption & Usage and Unique Group Considerations
    • You can also choose to copy over the [Impacted Group Risk Assessments] and [Change Impact Assessments]
*Note: Impacted Groups are linked to multiple areas in Proxima. If you don’t copy them, some related data—such as ADKAR Assessments, Role Rosters, and Blueprints & Plans—may be incomplete.
  • ADKAR Assessments: Copies over all ADKAR Assessments from the project, including:
    • Assessment Name, Impacted Group*, Date, Assessment Status, Scores and Connected Group Assessments*
  • Risk Assessment: Copies over the overall Risk Assessment scores from the project.
  • Resources and Governance: Copies over data from the Resources and Governance page.
  • Role Rosters: Copies over all data from the Role Roster including:
    • Role Name, Initials, Impacted Group*, Role Definition, Support, Influence, ADKAR and Activation Tactics
  • Roadmap Dates: Copies over data from the Roadmap including:
    • Key Project Milestone Dates, Key Initiative Release Dates and ADKAR Milestone Dates
  • Blueprints and Plans: Copy over all activities from the Blueprints and Plans including:
    • Activity Name, Impacted Group*, Roles, ADKAR Outcomes, Start and Finish Dates, Status, Results and Plan Types.
  • Side-Nav Settings: If you’ve hidden specific side-nav items in the original project, you can choose to carry over those settings.

What to Expect After Clicking [Duplicate Project]

Once you click the [Duplicate Project] button, a “Duplication in Process” modal will appear. When the duplication is complete, you’ll be automatically redirected to the Project Dashboard of your new, duplicated project.

Note: Once the duplication process begins, it cannot be canceled. Closing the modal or clicking outside of it will not stop the duplication. If you don’t immediately see the new project tile on your landing page, try refreshing your browser.
