PCT Assessments
The PCT Assessment is used to position a project for success by assessing the strength of each of the four aspects of the PCT Model at a point in time. Conducting multiple PCT Assessments over the lifecycle of the project enables you to establish a baseline and monitor progress in project health.
How do I schedule and complete PCT Assessments?
- Click on [PCT Assessment] in the side-navigation panel.
- Click [+ Add PCT Assessment] and enter a name for the assessment and date.
- From here, you can either:
- [Save] to add the assessment but complete it later
- [Go to Assessment] to complete the assessment.
- [Save and Create Another] to schedule out multiple assessments.
- Score each factor for all four aspects (Success, Leadership/Sponsorship, Project Management and Change Management). When finished, click [Mark Complete].
Note: Scores will appear in the [PCT Assessment Results] visual as the assessment scores are filled in. This visual can be exported as a PNG by clicking the gold download arrow.
How do I edit or delete a PCT Assessment?
- From the assessment index page, the PCT Assessment Name and Date columns can be edited by clicking directly in the fields on the table.
- Assessment scores can be edited by hovering over the Assessment Name and clicking [View Assessment] which will open the assessment.
- You can delete a PCT Assessment one of two ways:
- On the index page, right click on the Assessment Name of the assessment you want to delete, and click [Delete] or,
- Hover over the Assessment Name and click on [View Assessment]. Then click on the [Edit] tab at the top of the navigation bar. Click [Delete Assessment] at the bottom of the page.

- We include deeper content on the ten factors for each aspect of the PCT Model, which includes Factor Explanations that provide additional context for each factor, and Factor Analysis that provides more information on the consequences of a low score, activities to strengthen, and related research and resources to further develop your ability to effectively use the PCT Model on change projects.
