Exporting Data

How do I export data from Proxima?

  1. In Proxima, on any assessment or template where an export option is available, you will see an [Export] button at the top of the page.
  2. Click the button. In some cases, you will have the option to select CSV or PDF.
  3. The download should start immediately.

Note: Any unique formatting created in the text boxes by the user will not carry over to the exports. Rich Text formatting will carry over to the PDF exports, but will not carry over on the CSV exports as they are 'unformatted' by design. The only exception is bullet points, which will show as * in the CSV export.

Can I bulk export all project data in Proxima?

Yes, you can export all data on an individual project basis. We currently do not have a feature for exporting all or multiple project data across a Proxima account.

  • For exporting data by a project, go to [Project Settings] and scroll down to the [Project Exports] section.
  • Click on Export all CSVs for the project to download a ZIP file containing all CSV files with your project data.

As of October 13, 2022, we no longer support the feature of Exporting all PDFs for a Project. We have added more controls and options for Exporting PDFs per page instead.

What pages have PDF Exports available?

We have not created and designed PDF Export options for all assessments and templates within Proxima. At this, PDF exports are available for:

  • Role Roster
  • 4Ps
  • Plans and Blueprint Views
  • Impacted Groups Views
  • PCT Assessment List View

Why is a CSV file the common export option?

At this time, CSV is the standard exporting option available in Proxima, with the exception of a few areas that allow for a PDF canvas. We chose CSV because it is a universal file type that is understood by most applications that ingest data. All major spreadsheet products (Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers, etc) can open CSV files in a spreadsheet format.

Additionally, because we don’t know all the different places and ways users will want to ultimately connect and use their Proxima data, we chose to take the most flexible approach we could to exports. Currently, the CSV file type is the most flexible option, allowing for importing into other systems and personalized formatting.

Can I export my Tracking Calendar?

At this time, a direct export from your Tracking Calendar view is not available. The data that goes into your Tracking Calendar can be found on multiple pages, and each of those pages has its own export functionality.
