Is Proxima available in different languages?
Yes, Proxima is available in the following languages:
- English (US Standard)
- French (International Standard)
- Spanish (International Standard)
- Portuguese (Brazil Standard)
- German
- Chinese (Simplified)
- Japanese
- Polish

How can I change my preferred language in Proxima?
Changing your preferred language is done within the Prosci Portal:
- From within Proxima, click on your [My Account] tab in the upper right-hand corner of the app.
- From the drop down, select [Edit Profile].
- This will redirect you to the Prosci Portal. Find the [Preferred Language] option and choose your preferred language from the drop-down list.
- Click [Submit] at the bottom of the page.
- You will be redirected to the My Resources page in the Portal. Click on Proxima to reopen the app and see your preferred language shown.
Please Note:
- Preferred Language translations are only available for Proxima and Knowledge Hub (by program). The Portal and other resources are NOT available in any other languages other than English at this time. For more information about Preferred Languages, please see here.
- If a user has already created a project in Proxima with their Preferred Language set to English or another language, and then changes their Preferred Language to something else, some assessments in Proxima will appear in the original language the project was started in. See more about this in the question below.
I've updated my preferred language, but I still see some content in English?
We are working hard to make the entire Prosci experience as localized and comfortable for you as possible. However, you may find some sections that do not show translated content. There are three key considerations to note regarding preferred languages in Proxima.
- Proxima user generated content
In Proxima, we do not translate user generated content. This means any data entered by the user will always render in the language it has been entered (including for any collaborators or viewers of the project).
So, although the Proxima application copy will show in the chosen Preferred Language, the data of the project itself may show in a different language because the user has entered data in another language. - Previously created projects or assessments in Proxima
If you have already been using Proxima with your Preferred Language set to English (or another language), any previously created assessments or templates will remain in English (or the language it was created in). At the time you start a new assessment - like a PCT Assessment, ADKAR Assessment, etc. - that is the point at which we set the language for that assessment. If you change your Preferred Language, going forward you will see any new assessment show in the language of your preference, but all previously created assessment will remain as mentioned above.
Additionally, it should be noted that we do not recommend switching languages back and forth when working in Proxima. There are limitations (as mentioned above) and switching back and forth can cause impacts to user experience and data entry. - Other Apps and Content in the Hub Solution Suite
At this time, only Proxima and certain programs in Knowledge Hub are translated. That means other parts of the digital experience may still show up only in English.
As we continue to grow in our translations capabilities, there may be times when we release updates to Proxima and Knowledge Hub that show in English. As soon as translated content becomes available, we will publish those in Proxima and Knowledge Hub. Therefore, these delays/lags may result in an experience where the tool shows up with some content still in English.
Can I share a Proxima Project in multiple languages?
At this time, no. If you are using the Public Links feature, the 'view only' version of that project link that is shared with others will only be accessible in your own preferred language.
What are the date and calendar formats? Will they change by preferred language?
All dates in Proxima are displayed in DD-MMM-YYYY format, regardless of your preferred language setting.
