Release Comms: Portal Replatforming (November 2024)

This release is part of a larger initiative to streamline our digital infrastructure and improve the overall user experience across our digital products. The core features and overall user experience (UX) will remain the same, but you will observe some minor user interface (UI) updates including:

• Minor design adjustments: We’re aligning the Portal’s interface with our Hub Solution Suite for a more cohesive experience across our products. 
• Search and Bookmarks Updates: We are enhancing the Portal by integrating Global Search and Bookmarks directly into the interface. This means you will now have easy access to Search and Bookmarks throughout the entire Portal UI, rather than having them hidden within the individual Hubs. 
• Updated URLs: Some URL structures will change, but don’t worry—redirects will be in place so there’s nothing you need to do.
• Accessibility and Translation Updates:
  • This update resolves a number of accessibility gaps identified in our remediation efforts.
  • This update will allow us to incorporate translations into the Portal interface and other resources.
